At Rock Solid Concrete, our story began in 2002 with two brothers and a single drum mixer. Today, over two decades later, we’ve grown into an independent, trusted concrete supplier for Warwickshire, Leicestershire, and Rutland. From one truck to a fleet of specialist vehicles, we’ve always kept our focus on honesty, service, and simply getting the job done right.

Our History
2002
Humble Beginnings
Two brothers. One drum mixer. Rock Solid Mixer Hire is born.
2003
A Vision for the Future
A game-changing moment: we discover volumetric mixers and see the future of concrete delivery.
2004
A New Era: Rock Solid Concrete Launches
After months of research and planning, we relaunch as Rock Solid Concrete and purchase our first volumetric mixer.
2014
Our First Major Breakthrough
We supply concrete to a major Morris Homes development in Coventry—our biggest job yet, and the spark for bigger ambitions.
2015
Becoming Fully Self-Sufficient
We buy our own building to house our office and workshop, becoming fully self-sufficient. We streamline processes and play a key role in developing AggSmart—an application now widely used in the industry.
2016
Ready-Mixed Plant & Team Expansion
Our first ready-mixed concrete plant is built, allowing us to supply large-scale commercial projects and grow to a team of 20.
2017
Setting Records
We supply concrete for a Coventry University tower block, completing a 550m³ pour in a single day—a testament to our growing capabilities.
2019
Innovation: Rockflow Launched
After extensive testing, we launch Rockflow, our self-compacting concrete designed to simplify placement and improve finishes.
2024
Growth & New Solutions
Two major milestones:
- We expand further by acquiring a new plant in Melton Mowbray, serving Leicestershire and Rutland.
- We introduce Cemfloor, a high-performance flowing screed, further broadening our product range.
