1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the sale and delivery of goods and services by Rock Solid Concrete to you, the customer, in accordance with UK laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982. By placing an order, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

2. Definitions

“We” / “Us” / “Our” refers to Rock Solid Concrete.
“You” / “Customer” means the individual, company or organisation placing an order.
“Goods” means concrete or related materials supplied by us.
“Services” includes delivery, pumping, or supply-related works.

3. Orders and Acceptance

All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Orders are only confirmed upon written or verbal acceptance by us.
You are responsible for ensuring order details are complete and accurate.
Amendments to orders must be made with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.

4. Delivery and Risk

We aim to deliver at agreed times, but time is not of the essence unless confirmed in writing.
You must ensure that the delivery location is accessible and safe for heavy vehicles.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery, even if unloading is assisted by us.
If delivery is delayed due to your fault, we may charge waiting time or re-delivery fees.

5. Price and Payment

All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
We reserve the right to change prices due to market conditions or regulatory changes.
Payment is due in accordance with your account terms, or otherwise before delivery.
Late payments may incur statutory interest (8% above Bank of England base rate) under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

6. Cancellation and Returns

Commercial customers do not have a statutory cooling-off period.
Cancellations within 24 hours of delivery may be subject to full or partial charge.
Ready-mix concrete is perishable and non-returnable once dispatched.
Faulty products will be investigated and, if appropriate, replaced or refunded as per the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

7. Customer Responsibilities

You must:

Provide accurate site access details and point of contact.
Ensure the site is ready and safely accessible for delivery.
Comply with relevant health and safety regulations during delivery and pouring.
Inspect materials at the time of delivery and notify us of any issues immediately.

8. Liability and Warranties

We warrant that our goods will be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described under Section 9 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Our liability for loss or damage (including negligence) is limited to the cost of the goods supplied.
We are not liable for:
- Consequential or indirect loss (e.g. business interruption, profit loss).
- Damage caused by improper handling or use of the goods after delivery.
- Delays due to weather, traffic, third-party failures or force majeure.

9. Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for failure to perform or deliver due to unforeseen events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or equipment failures.

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property on our website and in our marketing materials (e.g., logos, text, graphics) is owned by or licensed to Rock Solid Concrete and may not be used without written permission.

11. Data Protection

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
