Rock Solid Concrete operates a ready-mix concrete delivery service from two BSI Kitemark plants in Coventry and Melton Mowbray. Loads run from 1m³ mini-mix to large phased pours of 200m³+, batched-to-spec mix grades, and a stamped delivery ticket on every wagon.

From standard GEN3 footing mixes through to high-strength C40 structural and specialist fibre-reinforced or waterproof grades, whatever the spec calls for, we batch it.

Load Sizes
1m³ to large phased pours
From a 1m³ garden-wall footing to phased commercial pours of 200m³+, we batch and schedule the wagons to suit the job. Smaller loads carry a small-load uplift; larger pours run wagon-on-wagon to keep the slab fresh.

How much does ready-mix concrete cost?
Standard mixes start from around £112 per m³ + VAT in the Midlands, depending on grade and volume. The price per cubic metre is higher on smaller loads and reduces as volume increases. Get an instant quote in under a minute.
How is ready-mix concrete delivered?
Concrete is batched fresh at our concrete plant, or delivered via one of our mix-on-site machines, then discharged on site through the wagon's chute. If access is restricted, we can arrange a concrete pump as part of the same booking.
What is a mix-on-site machine?
A mix-on-site (volumetric) mixer carries cement, aggregate and water in separate compartments and batches the concrete on the back of the wagon at your site. You only pay for what's poured, the mix can be tweaked on the day if the spec changes, and the concrete stays fresh through long pours. See our volumetric concrete page for more detail.
How quickly can you deliver concrete?
Next-day delivery is often possible, subject to availability. Slots are confirmed at booking from our Coventry (CV5) and Melton Mowbray (LE13) plants, peak weeks book out faster, so earlier is better for guaranteed timing.
What is the minimum concrete delivery?
We can deliver less than 1m³, but charge a 1m³ minimum. A small-load uplift applies for sub-6m³ loads, even with that, we're typically cheaper than national suppliers' part-load fees on small jobs. That makes us a popular choice for fence-post runs, garden walls and small extensions.
