Ordering concrete: your questions answered
How much concrete do I need?
Use the calculator in the order tool above. Enter your dimensions and it works out the volume for you, including 10% wastage automatically. If you're not sure, our team double-checks every order on the confirmation call before anything is charged.
What if I order too much or too little?
Because we mix volumetrically on the truck, you only pay for what's actually poured, so there are no part-load charges and no waste. If you need a little more on the day, the mixer can usually top you up on the spot.
How soon can you deliver?
Next-day delivery is available subject to availability. We run two plants, Coventry and Melton Mowbray, covering the Midlands, with free delivery within 8 miles. Pick your preferred date in the order tool and our team will confirm the slot when they call.
Can your mixer reach my driveway or back garden?
In most cases, yes. The mixer parks as close as possible and pours straight off the chute, which reaches several metres. For tighter or further access we offer concrete pumping, so choose the pump option in the order tool or mention it on the call.
How long do I have to pour it once it arrives?
Because it's batched fresh on site rather than pre-mixed hours before, you're not racing a drum truck's clock. The driver mixes to your needs on arrival, so you have plenty of working time to place and finish the pour.
How do I pay, and is my deposit safe?
Checkout is secure via Stripe. We place a temporary hold to reserve your slot, our team calls to confirm the details, and you're only charged the final confirmed amount, never more than what's delivered.
